On March 1, 2025, Mikal Washington, a Community Relations Specialist from the Equity and Engagement Department, took part in the RISE 217: Entrepreneurial Edge event hosted by Business Elevator at the Champaign Public Library. The event highlighted a presentation by John Poll from Credit Care Company. Poll discussed important topics such as loan consolidation, business credit building, and securing funding.
