The Public Works Department has announced plans to install an all-way stop at the intersection of Boardwalk Drive and Newton Drive in the coming weeks. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices by adding stop signs on Boardwalk Drive and placing "All-Way" plaques under both new and existing stop signs.
The intersection is located near an Amazon warehouse, which experiences a significant amount of traffic during shift changes. The completion of this project is subject to weather conditions, and work may be postponed if there is inclement weather.
This development is part of ongoing efforts by the Public Works Department to enhance road safety and manage traffic flow effectively.
