No. 20 Illinois is set to face No. 3 Ohio State in a nonconference tennis match on Wednesday, March 5, at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center in Columbus, Ohio. The match begins at 5 p.m. CT and marks the last nonconference game for Illinois this regular season.

This encounter is one of two scheduled matches between these teams during the 2025 regular season. They will meet again on April 11 for Big Ten play at Atkins Tennis Center.

Illinois enters the midweek match with a record of 6-3, seeking their first ranked road win this spring. Last weekend, they split a doubleheader against UTRGV and No. 17 Baylor in Waco, Texas. The Fighting Illini secured a 4-0 victory over UTRGV but fell to Baylor with a score of 4-1.
