Illinois women's basketball team secured a significant victory over Nebraska with a 77-68 win at the State Farm Center. The triumph marked Illinois' eighth consecutive Big Ten win, setting a new program record and bringing their overall season record to 21-5, with an 11-4 standing in conference play.

Adalia McKenzie led the charge for Illinois, playing all 40 minutes and scoring 23 points, alongside eight rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. Kendall Bostic achieved her 17th double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Berry Wallace contributed significantly with 15 points and three rebounds, while Genesis Bryant added 12 points and four assists.

The game began slowly as both teams struggled to score early on. However, Illinois managed to take a slight lead by the end of the first quarter. Despite Nebraska's efforts to maintain control in the second quarter, Illinois responded strongly in the second half, outscoring Nebraska by ten points across the final two quarters.

Kendall Bostic's performance continues to bring her closer to Jenna Smith's program records for career double-doubles and rebounding. Meanwhile, Shauna Green has achieved her second season with over 20 wins as head coach of Illinois.

Illinois will next face No.1 UCLA on Thursday in Los Angeles as they continue their road trip.
