The Illinois women's tennis team is competing from November 7-10 in ITA-sanctioned events, with opportunities to advance to the NCAA singles and doubles tournaments.

At the ITA Sectional Championships, Tereza Dejnozkova from Iowa defeated McKenna Schaefbauer in the Singles Round of 32 with scores of 2-6, 7-5, 7-6(1). In the Consolation Singles Round of 16, McKenna Schaefbauer secured a victory against No. 96 Vivian Ovrootsky from Texas with scores of 7-6(2), 7-6(4). Schaefbauer will face Audrey Spencer from Ohio State in the Consolation Singles Quarterfinals at 9:30 AM CT.

In the ITA Conference Masters Championships Doubles Round of 32, Megan Heuser and Alice Xu triumphed over Cocero and Wipfli from NJIT with scores of 6-1, 4-6, and a tiebreaker score of 1-0 (9). However, they were later defeated by Chursina and Semlali from SC State in the Doubles Round of 16 with scores of 6-3, 7-5.
