The Division of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Illinois has announced several changes and enhancements for the upcoming 2024-25 men's basketball season at State Farm Center. These updates aim to improve the game day experience for fans.

One significant change is that gates will now open 90 minutes before tipoff for all attendees, eliminating previous staggered entrance times. This adjustment is intended to facilitate smoother entry for capacity crowds.

Additionally, "Illini Hour" will be introduced, offering discounted prices on hot dogs, non-alcoholic beverages, and domestic beers during the first hour after gates open. Two new in-game promotions have been added: "T's for Threes," sponsored by Toyota, where t-shirts are launched into the stands following each made three-pointer; and "Charge, No Charge," sponsored by Kam's, which waives cover charges for two hours post-game if an Illini player successfully takes a charge.

Season ticket holders who renewed by July 26 will receive a 10% discount on concessions throughout the season, with I FUND members continuing to enjoy a 15% discount. New vendors Chick-fil-A and Smith Burgers join the concessions lineup alongside Nothing Bundt Cakes in the Traditions Club.

Club 53 has expanded its space to accommodate additional courtside seating added last season. The Legacy Club also introduces new menu options featuring hot carved sandwiches such as pastrami and Cuban sandwiches.

A mirror ball lighting effect has been installed at State Farm Center to enhance pregame starting lineups this season.
