Illinois center Tomislav Ivisic has been cleared to play in the upcoming 2024-25 college basketball season. The NCAA Eligibility Center completed its review, classifying Ivisic as a sophomore with three years of eligibility left. As part of his reinstatement, he will donate to a charity of his choice.

Head coach Brad Underwood expressed gratitude for the resolution, stating, "We appreciate the NCAA for its diligence, the great work done by our compliance staff, and the communication and cooperation between all parties throughout this process." He added that they are pleased for Ivisic and are now focused on preparing for the season.

Before joining Illinois, Ivisic played for SC Derby in Podgorica, Montenegro, part of the Adriatic League First Division (ABA). In his last season there, he averaged 7.1 points with a shooting percentage of 57.4% and 42.3% from beyond the arc.
