The Illinois football team is ranked #24 in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll this week. The team will return to Memorial Stadium to face Minnesota on Saturday for Dads Day and Military Appreciation Day.

Illinois has started the season with a 6-2 record, maintaining an unbeaten 5-0 streak at home. The Fighting Illini have now been featured in the AP Poll for seven consecutive weeks, marking their longest streak since the 2001 Big Ten championship team, which appeared in the poll for ten weeks.

Notably, Illinois stands as the only Big Ten team with three wins against teams ranked in the AP Top 25 this season. Their only defeats were against top-10 teams: #1 Oregon and #9 Penn State, both of which are currently among the top three in this week's AP poll.

The upcoming game against Minnesota (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. CT and will be broadcast on FS1. Tickets are available through FightingIllini.com.
