Illini alumni make impact across NFL games during Week 7

Former University of Illinois football players made notable contributions in Week 7 of the NFL season. Isaiah Adams, offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals, played a role in their narrow victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Tony Adams, safety for the New York Jets, started and recorded five tackles before leaving due to injury in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Nick Allegretti of the Washington Commanders participated fully on offense and special teams during their win against the Carolina Panthers. Chase Brown, running back for the Cincinnati Bengals, accumulated 44 rushing yards and nine receiving yards in their triumph over the Cleveland Browns.

Sydney Brown made his season debut with the Philadelphia Eagles, contributing defensively and on special teams in their win against the New York Giants. Tommy DeVito was inactive for this game.

Kendrick Green took part in special teams plays during Houston Texans' close loss to Green Bay Packers. His teammate Jake Hansen had seven tackles including one for a loss. Nate Hobbs from Las Vegas Raiders intercepted a pass despite their defeat by Los Angeles Rams.

Kerby Joseph started as safety for Detroit Lions who edged out Minnesota Vikings. Ted Karras contributed fully to Cincinnati Bengals' offensive efforts against Cleveland Browns while Doug Kramer did not play due to Chicago Bears' bye week.

Vederian Lowe was inactive during New England Patriots' loss to Jacksonville Jaguars whereas Quan Martin participated actively in Washington Commanders’ defensive success over Carolina Panthers.

Chase McLaughlin scored points through field goals and extra points for Tampa Bay Buccaneers though they lost to Baltimore Ravens. Jer’Zhan Newton also played defensively in Washington's win.

Alex Palczewski missed Denver Broncos’ victory over New Orleans Saints while Del'Shawn Phillips participated solely on special teams during Houston Texans' game against Green Bay Packers.

Tip Reiman recorded minimal yardage yet contributed offensively and on special teams helping Arizona Cardinals secure victory over Los Angeles Chargers. Dawuane Smoot made impactful defensive plays leading Buffalo Bills past Tennessee Titans whereas Jihad Ward participated minimally as Minnesota Vikings faced defeat by Detroit Lions.

Casey Washington caught his first NFL pass representing Atlanta Falcons despite losing effort versus Seattle Seahawks where Devon Witherspoon served as captain making significant defensive contributions aiding Seattle’s win.

Isaiah Williams remained inactive while playing no part in Detroit Lions’ narrow win against Minnesota Vikings.
