Illinois Athletics announces promotional schedule for women's basketball season

Illinois Athletics has released the promotional schedule for the 2024-25 Fighting Illini women's basketball season. The team will host 18 games, starting with an exhibition against Lewis on November 1 at 6 p.m. CT.

The schedule includes various ticket promotions and events, such as free admission for Field Trip Day. Fans can also look forward to photo stations, activity fairs, and other attractions throughout the season.

The first game against Lewis features a Halloween promotion where children under 12 in costume receive free admission. On November 7, fans attending the game against Florida State will receive free orange FamILLy t-shirts. Other notable events include Military Appreciation Night on November 14, with free tickets for veterans and active duty military through VetTix.

Field Trip Day is scheduled for November 18, offering free admission and a pregame activity fair sponsored by Busey Bank. Friendsgiving on November 22 allows season ticket holders to claim a free ticket for a friend.

December highlights include MVP Night on December 12 and a Holiday Game on December 15 featuring a teddy bear toss and photos with Santa. Ugly Sweater Day on December 20 offers free general admission tickets to fans wearing ugly sweaters.

Pack the House day is set for December 28 with discounted tickets available when purchasing four or more. Kids Club Day will feature autograph books and a kids zone.

January's events include We Back Pat Game on January 9 to raise awareness for dementia and Alzheimer's, Girl Scouts Day on January 19, and Coaches vs. Cancer night on January 27 in collaboration with the American Cancer Society.

February's promotions start with National Girls & Women in Sports Day on February 6, providing free admission for registered junior high and high school teams. Orange Krush Foundation Night is planned for February 13 to recognize grant winners from the previous season.

Play4Kay - Pink Game takes place on February 16 to support cancer research affecting women, sponsored by Carle Health. The final home game against Michigan on March 3 marks Senior Day along with Illinois Watches Women's Sports Day, offering activities with women's teams and free tickets for children under 12.
