Fighting Illini women's golf team is set to conclude their fall schedule at the Landfall Tradition, hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington. The tournament will take place from October 25 to 27 at the Dye Course in Wilmington, N.C.

The Country Club of Landfall is a prominent collegiate golf venue featuring 45 holes designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus. It has previously hosted NCAA Division I Championships in 1995 and 2010. The Landfall Tradition Tournament has been held annually since 2002, except for a hiatus in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three-day event begins with tee times on Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30 a.m. CT, with a shotgun start on Sunday at 7:45 a.m. CT, concluding with an awards ceremony. This competition spans 54 holes on a par-72 course measuring 6,178 yards.

The tournament features an 18-team field including Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Furman, Maryland, Michigan State, North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, South Florida, UCF, UNC Wilmington and Virginia Tech.

Representing Illinois are Lexanne Halama (No.1), Yurang Li (No.2), Victoria Zheng (No.3), Brielle Mapanao (No.4) and Brielle Burns (No.5). This marks Illinois' fourth appearance at the Landfall Tradition; they finished tenth last year and have previously placed eighth in 2021 and third in 2019.

Live scoring for the tournament will be available on Scoreboard.Clippd.com with daily recaps posted on FightingIllini.com. The Illini will next compete at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational starting February 16 at Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Fla.
