Illinois Women's Gymnastics is preparing for its annual Halloween Intrasquad event, scheduled for Sunday, October 27 at Kenney Gym. The competition will feature two teams, Angels and Devils, showcasing their skills in front of the Champaign-Urbana community.
Team Angels includes Kennedy Brown, Alea Byrne, Amelia Knight, Makayla Green, Mareli Muller, Micheala Gentry, Sydney Wilke, Marly Esteves, Mya Gordon, Maddie Vitolo, and Megan Sapp. Team Devils consists of Chloe Cho, Arielle Ward, Emma White, Eden King, Tali Joelson, Ashlyn Doyle, Destiny Denning, Emmalise Nock, Olivia Coppola, Ruthuja Nataraj and Lyden Saltness.
The event promises to offer fans a preview of the 2025 Fighting Illini team as they compete across all four gymnastics events. Audience members are encouraged to wear costumes and participate in contests hosted by emcees between rotations. Following the competition and the announcement of the winning team, attendees will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat with student-athletes on the gym floor.
