Illinois women's golf ties for 11th at Big Ten Championships

Illinois women's golf team concluded the Big Ten Championships tied for 11th place, finishing with a total score of 898 (+34) over 54 holes. The final round saw the team score a collective 300 (+12).

Isabel Sy led the team with a strong performance, shooting a 74 (+2) in the last round and securing a tie for seventh place. This marks her second consecutive Top 10 finish at the Big Ten Championships.

Yurang Li also delivered a solid performance, tying for 36th after posting a third-round score of 74 (+2). Lexanne Halama ended the tournament in 70th place with a final round of 79 (+7).

Anna Ritter and Erica Lee both finished tied for 72nd, each recording a score of 76 (+4) in their final rounds. Notably, Erica Lee achieved four birdies during her last round, leading the team in that category. Sophia Sulkar completed her tournament journey in 82nd place after carding an 82 (+10) in the third round.

Indiana claimed victory as the Big Ten Champion with an impressive score of eight-under (856). Individual medalist honors were shared by Indiana's Caroline Craig, Michigan's Monet Chun, and Minnesota's Isabella McCauley.
