The field includes teams such as Alabama, Auburn, Augusta, College of Charleston, Emory, Florida, Georgia Southern, Kansas State, Michigan, Missouri, NC State, San Diego State, SMU and Virginia.

Illinois' lineup features Isabel Sy at No.1 followed by Yurang Li (No.2), Erica Lee (No.3), Lexanne Halama (No.4), Anna Ritter (No.5) with Sophia Sulkar competing individually.

This marks Illinois' third appearance at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic and their first since 1996 when they finished in 22nd place after placing seventh in the previous year.
