Ozolins achieves All-American status as Illini conclude NCAA tournament run

Fighting Illini men's tennis team concluded its participation in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Tournaments on Wednesday at Oklahoma State University. The doubles team, comprising Hunter Heck and Karlis Ozolins, faced a defeat against Arkansas' Bozo Baruns and Jared Horwood with scores of 7-5, 6-3.

Earlier in the day, Karlis Ozolins was defeated by Arizona State's Murphy Cassone with scores of 6-1, 6-0. Despite this loss, Ozolins secured All-American status following his victory over Florida State's Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc on Tuesday with scores of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
