Thomas Detry, following a strong performance at the PGA Championship where he tied for fourth place, is set to compete in the Charles Schwab Challenge. This marks his eighth start in a major and his third top-five finish of the season. Detry's recent success has elevated him to 20th in the FedEx Cup standings and 54th in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Detry will be joined by Nick Hardy at the Colonial Country Club event in Fort Worth, Texas. Both golfers made it past the cut in last year's tournament, with Detry finishing T21 and Hardy T48.

Meanwhile, on the DP World Tour, Matthis Besard, Adrien Dumont de Chassart, and Thomas Pieters are preparing for the Soudal Open in Belgium. Besard and Dumont de Chassart are both rookies on their respective tours and will be playing this event for the first time. Pieters previously secured a T9 finish at this event in 2022.

In another competition, Steve Stricker returns to defend his title at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship held at Harbor Shores Resort in Michigan. Stricker won six times during the 2023 season but is yet to secure a victory this year.

On the Korn Ferry Tour, Brian Campbell continues his impressive season as he competes in the Visit Knoxville Open. Currently ranked 10th on the tour points list, Campbell has achieved two top-three finishes this year. He will be participating in this event for the fourth time.
