Illinois women's gymnastics team is preparing to compete in the NCAA Regionals in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This marks the seventh time under head coach Nadalie Walsh that the team has reached this stage and their 20th consecutive appearance overall.
The Illini will face Ball State on Wednesday, April 3, in the first round of competition. Other teams participating in the Ann Arbor Regional include host Michigan, Kent State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, and NC State.
The Illinois team recently secured a sixth-place finish at the Big Ten tournament. The top three positions were claimed by Michigan State, Minnesota, and Michigan.
