Illinois women's golf team concluded their participation in the Windy City Collegiate Classic, finishing 14th with a team total of 313 (+25) in the final round at Westmoreland Country Club.
Yurang Li and Victoria Zheng both tied for 35th place. Li recorded five birdies over two days and shot a 76 (+4) in the final round. Zheng had six birdies and posted a 79 (+7) in her third round.
Brielle Mapanao ended the tournament tied for 51st, shooting a 79 (+7) in the last round. She made three birdies today, totaling seven throughout the event.
Anna Ritter finished in 70th place after shooting a third-round score of 79 (+7). Lexanne Halama tied for 74th with an overall score of 82 (+10).
Erica Lee, competing individually, also tied for 51st after carding a 75 (+3) during the final round.
Arizona State claimed the team title at 11-over (875), led by Patience Rhodes who fired a final-round score of 70 (-2). Southern California's Jasmine Koo earned individual medalist honors, finishing at 5-under (211).
The Fighting Illini will return to action on Monday, Oct. 7, when they host the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah Country Club.
