Thomas Detry continues his FedEx Cup Playoff push at the BMW Championship, headlining a group of five former Illini in action this week across the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, DP World Tour, and PGA Tour Americas.

Detry enters play this week at the BMW Championship, held at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado, 10 spots clear of the top-50 ranking necessary to qualify for the second leg of the three-event playoff. Coming off a T46 finish last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, Detry secured his qualification for next season's eight signature events on tour. He will need a minimum finish of solo 22nd to give himself a chance to crack the top-30 FedEx Cup ranking necessary to advance to next week's TOUR Championship at East Lake.

Brian Campbell is back on the course for his second tournament since officially clinching his 2025 PGA Tour card prior to last week's Magnit Championship where he finished T30. He will be joined in the field at the Albertson's Boise Open by fellow former Illini Timmy Crawford who will be making his fifth Korn Ferry Tour start since completing his collegiate career with the Orange and Blue this spring. Crawford is currently No. 145 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, one spot outside of the top 144 necessary to move on to next week's Simmons Bank Open.

Matthis Besard's rookie campaign on the DP World Tour continues this week at the Danish Golf Championship, at Lübker Golf Resort in Aarhus, Denmark. Besard is making his 19th DP World Tour start and is in search of his eighth made cut. In July he posted his best finish of the season, a tie for sixth, at the BMW International Open.

Piercen Hunt is set to compete this week at the CentrePort Canada Rail Park Manitoba Open at Southwood Golf & Country Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is in search of his third made cut in eight starts after playing through to the weekend in back-to-back events in late July at the Bromont Open and Ottawa Open.
