Miyoshi triumphed over No. 2-seeded James Connel of Florida State with a score of 6-3, 6-3 in the singles final held on Tuesday at the Leftwich Tennis Center, located on the campus of the University of Memphis.
As the top seed in the men's singles bracket, Miyoshi advanced to the quarterfinals without dropping a set. He then defeated fifth-seeded Sean Daryabeigi, 6-1, 6-4, securing a spot among the final four competitors in the tournament.
In a challenging semifinal match, Miyoshi recorded a 6-3, 6-7, 10-2 victory over No.3 seed Lucas Brown from Texas. This win ensured that the Japan native would advance to the final.
Miyoshi earned his place in the ITA National Summer Championships by winning an ITA Summer Masters Series event in Madison, Wisconsin, in July.
