URBANA, Ill. – Atkins Tennis Center will host the Neitzel Family Open, a 25K men's tennis tournament on the International Tennis Federation World Tour, from July 22-28.

The tournament, previously known as the Fighting Illini Open, will be held in Champaign-Urbana for the fifth time since its inception in 2019. The competition is expected to include several former and current Illini student-athletes in both singles and doubles matches.

July 22 marks the beginning of qualifying rounds, with singles and doubles finals scheduled for July 27 and 28. The event will feature 32 players in singles qualifying rounds, another 32 players in the singles main draw, and 16 pairs in the doubles main draw.

The tournament is free and open to the public. Matches will be played on the east outdoor courts unless inclement weather necessitates a change of venue.
