On Friday, February 9, former Downers Grove North High School standout Abby Ryniec’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place in Auburn, Alabama. This was their first matchup against the Belmont Bruins this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, February 11 at 11 a.m. in Auburn, Alabama against Virginia Tech Hokies.
