On Friday, February 23, former Liberty High School standout Sydney Malott’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 11-9 in their NCAA Division I game against the California Golden Bears.

The game took place in Cathedral City, California. This was their first matchup against the California Golden Bears this season.
