On Friday, January 5, former DME Academy standout, Niccolo Moretti’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 78-83 in their NCAA D1 game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place in West Lafayette, Indiana. This was the first matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers this season.

The Illinois Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Thursday, January 11 at 8 p.m. in Champaign, Illinois.
