Village of Pesotum Board of Trustees met Nov. 16.

STUDY SESSION MEETING
1. Call to Order
Village President, Joyce Ragle, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and roll call taken. Present was Village President, Joyce Ragle, Village Trustees, Dee Ann Hoffman, Jennifer Gumbel-Paeth, Nathan Nierenhausen and Todd Jamison; Village Trustee and ESDA Coordinator,
Robert Russian, Village Clerk, Christine Conner, Village Treasurer, Melanie Schultz, and Village Maintenance, Rob Wood. Village Building Inspector, Lyle Reed, was not in attendance.
3. Presentations/Comments from the General Public – None
4. Old Business
4.1. There is still no agreement of terms for purchase of real estate from Pesotum Township. There is another party interested who has submitted a higher bid. Options were discussed.
5. New Business
5.1 The Caucuses will be held Monday, December 5, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., at the Village Community Building for the purpose of nominating candidates for three Village Trustee positions.
6. Presentations/Comments from the Board
6.1 The Village will contribute $200 toward the Village of Pesotum Fire Department Holiday party this year, which is the same as was contributed last year.
6.2 The Village will have a Holiday decorating contest. The Contest will end Sunday, December 18, 2022. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from the Wayside.
6.3 There will be a Holiday party featuring The Grinch movie.
6.4 A Holiday bonus was discussed for the Village Maintenance Supervisor.
