The application process for the Presidential Student Ambassadors program is now open.
Presidential Ambassadors are highly skilled and experienced students who will represent the Office of the President at designated events and related University activities. Members of this group will interact and validate the philanthropic contributions of donors, alumni, community members, friends, faculty, staff, and the student body by sharing the story of their unique Illinois State University experiences.
Potential students must have a 3.25 GPA, and be of sophomore, junior, or senior standing. Presidential Ambassadors serve for one academic year at a time and are eligible to serve multiple years.
Students must complete an application and interview process conducted by a committee appointed by the president of Illinois State. Students will be selected to help represent the diversity of the campus community as reflected in majors, experiences, activities, geography, path to college, and backgrounds.
Up to twenty (20) Presidential Ambassadors will be chosen each year for this paid position and trained appropriately.
