Sen. Jason Barickman (R-Bloomington) recently announced a free legal advice fair. The event will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Mid Central Community Action on 1301 West Washington St. in Bloomington.
Lawyers will be available to offer advice on housing, debt, child support or divorce issues. No advice will be given on criminal issues.
The Public Interest Law Initiative is hosting the event.
Participants are encouraged to register for the event at this site.
Participants must also meet the Public Interest Law Initiative's financial eligibility requirements.
