Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Cunningham Township Board met in special session at 5:30pm. Due to the Governor and Mayoral Emergency Declarations, this meeting was conducted by virtual attendance via Zoom.

ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT:

Chair: Maryalice Wu acting as Mayor Pro Term

Township Clerk: Phyllis D. Clark

ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE:

Trustees: Jaya Kolisetty, Chaundra Bishop, Grace Wilken, James Quisenberry, Chris Evans* Supervisor: Danielle Chynoweth

Assessor:

*Denotes late arrival

ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Wayne Williams, Diane Marlin, Shirese Hursey

OTHERS PRESENT: Frederic Grosser, Jason Liggett, Darcy Sandefur, Bourema Ouedraogo, Melissa Courtwright and Kim Stanthorpe from CU at Home

I. ROLL CALL

With a quorum virtually present, Chair Wu called the special meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 5:30pm.

II. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA

None.

III. PUBLIC INPUT

None

IV. REPORTS OF OFFICERS

Supervisor asked that Melissa Courtwright and Kim Stanthorpe of CU at Home to be available to respond to questions

V. NEW BUSINESS

a. Resolution No. T-2021-11-016R: A Resolution Authorizing the Cunningham Township Supervisor to Sign a Contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield for Health Insurance Coverage (Effective January 1, 2021)

Presented by Supervisor Chynoweth. Same health insurance plan the Township has been using for a number of years. Cost included in previously passed budget and should actually come out under budgeted amount.

Motion to approve by CM Bishop seconded by CM Quisenbery.

AYE: Wu, Kolisetty, Bishop, Wilken, Quisenberry

b. Resolution No. T-2021-11-018R: A Resolution Authorizing the Cunningham Township Supervisor to Sign an Agreement with CU at Home for Inclusive Emergency Shelter

Presented by Supervisor Chynoweth with support from CU at home Staff. Resolution allows entities to enter into MOU to operate a damp shelter to meet the needs of those currently unhoused within the community who are not eligible for the dry shelter. Chynoweth outlined expectations and agreements between entities. Melissa echoed Danielle’s explanation and is looking forward to meeting the Dec 13th operation deadline. Questions and discussion ensued.

Motion to approve MOU with amended changes by Supervisor Chynoweth by CM Kolisetty and seconded by CM Wilken. Further questions and discussion ensued.

AYE: Quisenberry, Bishop, Wilken, Wu, Kolisetty, Evans

NAY: None

VI. ADJOURNMENT

With no further business to come before the Township Board, Chair Wu declared the special meeting adjourned at 5:55pm.
