2021: Champaign experienced a 4.9% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Champaign fell by $8,750 while total sales increased by 1595.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 746 homes sold, with a median sale price of $170,000 - a 4.9% decrease over the $178,750 median sale price for the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Champaign in 2020.
