Falling home prices in Savoy in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Savoy fell by $14,900 while total sales increased by 514.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 5.1% decrease over the $289,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Savoy in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Savoy for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,083, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
