Pricing for the median home in Monticello decreased during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Monticello fell by $22,000 while total sales increased by 6.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,000 - a 12.6% decrease over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Monticello in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Monticello for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,749, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
