Urbana home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Urbana rose by $29,050 while total sales decreased by 71.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,950 - a 16.1% increase over the $179,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Urbana in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Urbana for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,285, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
