Fairmount home prices fall in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Fairmount fell by $33,250 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $49,000 - a 40.4% decrease over the $82,250 median sale price for the previous year. There were two homes sold in Fairmount in 2018.

The median sales tax in Fairmount for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,255, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for 2019.
