Village of Rossville Finance & Purchasing Committee met November 18.
Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:
Trustee Leaver called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. The meeting was held at the Rossville Municipal Building located at 120 East Attica Street in Rossville.
Committee members physically present-Trustees Leaver, Maden and Buck
Committee members absent –None
Guests present were Mayor Queen, Clerk White, Trustees Cornell, Richison and Mahorney.
Minutes of the October 21, 2019 committee meeting were presented. Motion was made by Leaver, seconded by Buck to dispense with the reading of the minutes and accept the minutes as presented. All members present voted yes.
Current bills were reviewed. Clerk White explained the check made payable to Utility Supply was made payable to the wrong vender, the check was voided and re-issued to the correct vendor, which is included with bills to be approved. Included in the bills was an invoice from M&T Disposal for dumpster fees, in the amount of $325.00 for clean up at 215 Stewart that was in violation of Village ordinances for trash. The property owner has not paid the fee so a lien will be filed on the property. Motion was made by Leaver, seconded by Buck to accept the bills and pay them as presented. All members voted yes.
Sue Misner asked for assistance getting the property at 311 McKibben cleaned up from trash on their property. Chief Kelnhofer will be given the request and take action to get the property cleaned up.
Motion was made by Leaver, seconded by Maden to adjourn the meeting. All members present voted yes. The meeting adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
