Sidney home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Sidney fell by $11,900 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,350 - a 9% decrease over the $132,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Sidney in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Sidney for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,541, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
