Cerro Gordo home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Cerro Gordo fell by $500 while total sales decreased by 38.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $71,500 - a 0.7% decrease over the $72,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Cerro Gordo in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Cerro Gordo for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,683, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
