Champaign home prices fall in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Champaign fell by $12,400 while total sales decreased by 59.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 57 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 9% decrease over the $137,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 141 homes sold in Champaign in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Champaign for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,362, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for April 2018.
