Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 25.
There will be no entry charge or gate fee to get into the RACC Freedom Celebration 2019. There will also be a much larger and FREE Kids Zone with bounce houses and great activities for the children. Two live bands (Natu and Bosshog ) , sand volleyball , the Hall Brothers Raminator Monster Truck rides with proceeds benefiting the Rantoul Veterans Memorial , GREAT food !!! including a beer and BBQ tent by the Rantoul American Legion , Nite Owl Food Trucks by Ott’s Diner , Papa Johns Pizza , St. Mal’s booster club , and Ice Daddy’s Shaved Ice Treats Plus free entry to the Hap Parker Aquatic Center from 4 pm to 9 pm for EVERYONE!!!!! And tons more !!! Plus a very special fireworks show at dusk sponsored by the Village of Rantoul !!!! Wow !!!!
