Homer home prices fall in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Homer fell by $28,340 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $84,110 - a 25.2% decrease over the $112,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Homer in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Homer for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,041, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for December 2018.
