Champaign home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Champaign rose by $3,700 while total sales decreased by 4.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 854 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,200 - a 2.8% increase over the $133,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 893 homes sold in Champaign in the first half of 2016.
