Report: Tri Point spent $13,132 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Tri Point Community Unit School District 6J is up 5.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Chambana Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Livingston County school district spent $12,476 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,132 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 450 to 397.

Tri Point's spending in 2017-18 was 1.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
