Report: Paxton-Buckley-Loda spent $10,431 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Paxton-Buckley-Loda Community Unit School District 10 is up 10 percent from five years ago, according to a Chambana Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Ford County school district spent $9,484 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,431 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1414 to 1356.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda's spending in 2017-18 was 21.8 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
