Report: Georgetown Ridge Farm spent $9,523 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Georgetown Ridge Farm Community Unit School District 4 is down 6 percent from five years ago, according to a Chambana Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Vermilion County school district spent $10,117 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $9,523 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1151 to 1033.

Georgetown Ridge Farm's spending in 2016-17 was 27 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
