Report: Deland-Weldon spent $13,022 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Deland-Weldon Community Unit School District 57 is down 0 percent from five years ago, according to a Chambana Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Piatt County school district spent $13,039 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $13,022 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 221 to 215.

Deland-Weldon's spending in 2016-17 was 0 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
