City of Champaign Township Board of Trustees met October 3. 

Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

Date:                                 October 3, 2017

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Feinen at 7:00 р.m.

Approval of Minutes: Board Member Stock, seconded by Board Member Kyles, moved to approve the following minutes:

September 5, 2017 Regular Board Meeting

A voice vote was taken on the motion to approve the minutes; all voted yes. Motion carried.

Correspondence: None

Approval of Summary of Checks Written - All Funds, August 2017: August showed the total for the Town Fund was $33,102.52; General Assistance was $13,589.77: IMRF was $4,030. 18; and the Social Security Fund was $630.46. Total expenditures for the month of August 2017 were $51,352.93. Supervisor Quarnstrom noted no remarkable expenditures, but there had been an increase in the number of General Assistance cases. Board Member Beck requested, reports in the future, to see what assistance goes towards to assist with planning. Board Member Stock, seconded by Board Member Kyles, moved to accept and place on file the summary of expenditures. A voice vote was taken; all voted yes. Motion carried.

Audience Participation: None

Town Board and Township Supervisor's Comment: Supervisor Quarnstrom noted his participation in the City Council goal setting sessions were very beneficial. The Township is preparing for the levy, and a public hearing will be required. In addition, he noted the Township continues to work with transitioning the newly elected Township Assessor to ensure a smooth process.

Next Meeting: Chairperson Feinen noted the next meeting will be the Regular Township Meeting of November 7, 2017.

Adjournment: Board Member Stock, seconded by Board Member Kyles, moved to adjourn. A voice vote was taken on the motion to adjourn; all voted yes. Motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
