The Sangamon River Music Festival organizing committee will meet Thursday at the Mahomet Township Office to continue planning for this year's event.
The festival is entering its 19th year of turning Mahomet's Main Street into a carnival of live music, rides, games, food, and other attractions for two days in August.
At Thursday's meeting, organizers will move through committee updates on food, music, fundraising, volunteers, the parade and event-day organizing.
This year's event will be held from 5-11 p.m. Aug. 26 and from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Aug 27.
