Village of Mahomet Board of Trustees met May 23.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER: Meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

3. ROLL CALL: Widener asked for the roll call. Trustees Colravy, Tompkiins, Harpst, Preston, Oliger and Metzger are present. Additionally, Sean Widener, Village President, Patrick Brown, Village Administrator, Mike Metzler, Chief of Police, Joe Chamley, Village Attorney, Eric Crowley, Transportation Director, and Teresa Karnes, Deputy Clerk are all present. Ralph Caldwell, Jeff Wooten and Nancy Rabel are also in attendance.

4. PUBLIC COMMENT: No Public comment is presented to the Board nor was there any submitted to the Deputy Clerk.

5. PUBLIC HEARING:

A. Annual Budget and Appropriation of the Village of Mahomet, Illinois.

6. APPROVAL OF ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION OF THE VILLAGE OF MAHOMET, ILLINOIS. (TO BE ACTED UPON)

A. Ordinance 23-05-01, Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance of the Village of Mahomet, Illinois. Widener called for a motion, Metzger moved and Harpst Seconded. Karnes called the roll - ALL VOTES YES 6-0.

B. Resolution 23-05-07 A Resolution to Approve the FY2024-FY2028 Capital Improvement Plan. Widener called for a motion, Colravy moved, Tompkins seconded. Karnes called the roll - ALL VOTES YES 6-0.

C. Resolution 23-05-08, A Resolution to Approve Financial, Investment, Vehicle and Capital Equipment and Capital Improvement Policies of the Village of Mahomet. Widener call for a motion, Harpst moved and Preston seconded. Karnes called the roll, ALL VOTES YES 6-0.

7. CONSENT AGENDA: (TO BE ACTED UPON) Widener called for a motion, Tompkins moved and Harpst seconded. Karnes called the roll ALL VOTES YES 6-0

1. Resolution 23-05-01, A Resolution to Revise the 2023 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Budget with a Supplemental Resolution for $70,000.00.

2. Resolution 23-05-02, A Resolution to Approve an Engineering Services Agreement from Engineering International Inc. (ERI) for Material Testing and Limited Inspection for the Construction of South Mahomet Road from Churchill Road to Prairieview Road for the Not-To-Exceed Amount of $50,000.00.

Widener called for a motion, Metzger moved and Tompkins seconded. Karnes called the roll, ALL VOTES YES 6-0.

2. Ordinance 23-05-02, An Ordinance Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement by and Between the Village of Mahomet, Illinois and the City of Champaign, Illinois, as Lead Agency and on Behalf of METCAD. Widener called for a motion, Tompkins moved and Colravy seconded. Karnes called the roll, ALL VOTES YES 6-0.

B. TRANSPORTATION:

1. Resolution 23-05-09, A Resolution Rejecting the Bids for Public Works Buildings Painting Project. Widener called for a motion, Karnes called the roll Preston moved and Colravy seconded. ALL VOTES YES 6-0.
