Danville family advocacy center hosts diaper drive

Diapers

For most of November, state Sen. Scott Bennett (D-Champaign), Danville Township Supervisor Mike West and the New Directions Family Advocacy Center have been teaming up to sponsor a diaper drive to raise inventory for the Vermilion County Family Advocacy Center Diaper Bank.

The diaper bank provides free diapers to families in need. The drive, which ends Thursday, was meant to alleviate a shortage in diaper supply heading into the holiday season.

Diapers can be donated to the Danville Township Building at 101 W. North St. from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at the Vermilion County Family Advocacy Center Diaper Bank at 153 N. Vermilion, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
