From August 22 to 24, 2025, the West Haven Watch group organized a neighborhood clean-up event in which residents filled two dumpsters with bulk household items. According to group leaders, the highlight of the event was the conversations among neighbors. One participant, originally from Danville, noted his appreciation for the services provided by Champaign to neighborhood groups, stating that such programs were not available where he grew up. Residents worked together to help each other transport items to the dumpsters.
