Illinois Athletics has released the promotional schedule for the 2025-26 Fighting Illini women's basketball season. The team will host 18 home games, starting with an exhibition match against Maryville on October 30 at 6 p.m. Central Time.

The upcoming season includes the return of several recurring promotions and introduces new events aimed at fans of all ages. Promotions range from themed ticket deals to special event days. For example, children 12 and under who attend the Halloween Game in costume will receive a free general admission ticket. Military Appreciation Game offers free tickets to veterans and active duty military through VetTix.

Other highlights include Field Trip Day on November 18, sponsored by Busey Bank, which provides free admission and features a pregame activity fair with campus units and student organizations. The Friendsgiving game allows season ticket holders to claim a complimentary ticket for a friend, while Kids Club Day gives young fans opportunities such as creating a fan tunnel for the team's run out and participating in a postgame shootaround.

The Brunch & Ball event encourages students to attend in pajamas, and halftime will feature an air mattress race. Holiday-themed activities are scheduled during the December 14 game against North Texas, including a teddy bear toss at halftime, toy drive, and holiday photo station with Santa.

Additional promotions throughout the season recognize various groups such as first responders, local youth basketball teams, international students, and supporters of dementia awareness. Events like Play4Kay - Pink Game focus on raising money for cancers affecting women. There will also be networking opportunities tied to National Girls & Women in Sports Day.

Senior Day is set for March 1 against Minnesota, which coincides with Illinois Watches Women's Sports Day; kids aged 12 and under can attend this game for free.

These efforts are designed to increase community engagement and encourage attendance across different segments of fans throughout the basketball season.
